FRANKSTAHL is a family-owned, with its headquarters in Austrian enterprise and subsidiaries throughout Europe. Branches are to be found in the Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia, Slovenia, Croatia, Romania, Romania and Austria.
Our personnel in Guntramsdorf (Lower Austria) serve south-eastern Austria and looks after the neighbouring eastern and south-eastern regions of Europe. The Linz office handles central Austria and Oberdorf (near Salzburg), north-western Austria and Germany. The special mechanical engineering unit is located in Linz.
Storage
We possess 200,000 m² of storage space throughout Europe. Two-thirds of this capacity is covered. The Austrian locations are found in Guntramsdorf (Lower Austria) and Oberdorf (near Salzburg). Other capacity exists in Dobrejovice (CZ), Olomouc (CZ), Budapest (HU), Senec (SK), Zabok (HR), Bucharest (RO), Prnjavor (BA) and Plovdiv (BG).
On the one hand, our leading position as a complete supplier of commercial steel, aluminium and stainless steel is based on our extensive storage capacity and on the other, due to the fact that our logistics competence goes far beyond third party order/ project business. As a result, in the case of major orders, our customers are supplied ex-works.
Despite its size, the storage area alone would be insufficient to hold the more than 40,000 articles that we keep in stock. Accordingly, the very latest storage technologies are employed. Fully automatic honeycomb storage-systems and shuttle lifts permit the storage of thousands of articles and quick and precise commissioning. |
