Together with our long-standing partner Triple-S Steel Holdings, the largest steel distributor in Texas, we are taking a stake in the Belgian company Zimmer Staal, an established heavy plate specialist based in the Port of Antwerp.
Since it was founded in 1999 by entrepreneur Luc Cools, Zimmer Staal has grown into one of the leading suppliers in the region, with around 100,000 tonnes of stock. Firmly rooted in Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Germany and France, the company stands for reliability, industry knowledge and a strong commitment to quality.
With this investment we continue to grow together and gain a partner who shares our values and complements our portfolio. As a heavy plate specialist, Zimmer Staal strengthens a segment that plays a central role in many industries, and it allows us to act even more precisely and closer to our markets.
